"AI" Policy

At Modelist, we oppose the destruction of environmental, social or economic spaces, dehumanization and the basic human right of privacy through the use of so-called "AI" (a pure marketing term), all for the sole benefit of the already obscenely wealthy.

"AI" is built upon theft, is devastating artists' livelihoods and serves no discernable positive purpose in society.

We believe that "AI" has absolutely no place in our hobby, in any form, by any actor.

Personally, I feel that use of "AI" devalues your image as a business, and only shows how little you respect your customers and personnel.

So: Modelist will never knowingly use or disseminate "AI" generated pictures, or will ever employ "AI" as a means of stealing ('collecting') personal data. 

 

The use of "AI" by Shopify (our webstore platform) is unfortunately out of our control, but will be limited as much as possible. One such example is sale via "agentic" channels, which has been disabled in the webshop.
