What's on my desk? Part 127.

Hello and welcome!

This Sunday is Father's Day, and what better gift than something to keep him quiet and occupied for days. :-) Modelist has the perfect gift, so why not stop by and take a look?

Meanwhile, I have not a lot to show you for models this week. I' m nearing the end of the Viggen build, the T-72 is screaming for paint, and the McLaren has finally received its first colour (apart from black and metal).

The Viggen (there's one coming to Sanicole this year!) is finally able to stand on its own legs:

As you see, I've finished decalling as well. Now I need to panel line and weather, then a varnish coat and install the cockpit accoutrements. I'll be generous and give myself two weeks for all that.
T-72 tracks were completed in one long session on Wednesday. I've taped everything off that needs to be taped off, and it's all ready for primer. Just need to gather approximate colours for the camouflage.
Finally, the McLaren. I sprayed the rear body panels that go in between the axles/suspension bars with the fluorescent red I still had left over from the MP4/4, and installed the engine, gearbox and suspension:
I also painted the brake drums:
The Titanium Silver on the brake pads themselves needs a coat of Clear Yellow, to give it a more golden hue.
That's it already.
Hopefully next week I'll have more to show...
