New announcement: M47 from Italeri

There's some new announcements from Italeri. Interestingly: a new version of the M47, with Belgian decals! Unfortunately it's not a new tooling, but there are some updated parts for the smoke launchers, rain & scope guards and barrel.

The M47 is seriously underrepresented in scale modelling. The Italeri offering here dates from 1978, and has been reboxed by Italeri and Tamiya 11 times (12 now). Takom did a very nice new tooling in 2017 in a few versions, but they're a bit hard to find these days, and aren't cheap.

...And that's it. Two molds in about 47 years.

All in all, this one will be interesting for Belgian Army modellers, and shoud make a very nice model if you're willing to put some work into it.

Italeri 6763S will cost around €31 and is expected end May/beginning June 2025. It will replace 6447 in the Italeri catalogue.
